As a general practice law firm serving clients in Mid-Maine, we are pleased to continue providing legal advice to individuals and business that we first served in the early 1980s. Many of these clients are second and third generation real estate clients. Our law firm also welcomes new clients and looks forward to developing new relationships that will also be long term.

Our law firm, founded in 1983 by Everett Gray, began primarily as a real estate law firm. Bill Palmer and Peter Bos joined the firm a few years later. Although our roots are in real estate transactions, our growth has come in other areas of law related to the Maine’s changing economy. Our personal injury and Social Security disability practice has come as a result of logging accidents, pulp and paper mill injuries, construction accidents and, of course, auto accidents. Our law firm has seen more Chapter 7 bankruptcy and Chapter 13 bankruptcy filings as mills have closed and the Bangor area economy has changed. People can be placed in difficult extenuating circumstances through no fault of their own.  We are proud to help our clients get the fresh start they need. We have been able to help incorporate new businesses, arrange for adoptions, and handle the real estate transactions for homebuyers and sellers and those buying or selling commercial property. Peter handles most of our criminal defense work and Social Security claims. Bill handles all of the real estate transactions. Both are lawyers do personal injury litigation, family law / divorce and other legal matters.

At our law firm, our attorneys understand the community and its needs. We also believe in giving back to our community. Bill and Peter volunteer their service to local non-profit groups on a regular basis. One of our staff members, Vicki Trainer, have been with the law firm for more than twenty years, and even our newest staff member, Jeanne Orcutt has been with us for several years.
